Film Program Screening
Please join us on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, to watch and celebrate student filmmakers and 3 short films collaboratively produced by Philadelphia high school and Penn students. Over the academic year, students from PennGSE’s Ethnographic Filmmaking courses partner with high school students to develop, write, film and edit original movies for screening then broadcast. This year’s screening features 2 documentaries and our first narrative fiction short produced with The Workshop School, William L. Sayre High School and The Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts. We hope to see you there.

In its fourth year, the SDP-PennGSE Film program is organized by PennGSE Films, the School District of Philadelphia Office of Information Technology and Data Management and PSTV (Philadelphia Schools TV). The Ethnographic Filmmaking course is supported by Penn’s Netter Center for Community Partnerships and is an ABCS (Academically-based Community Service) course.
